About This App
Mumvera is a free tool that provides personalised wellbeing recommendations across three reproductive life stages (preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum) and three wellbeing domains (mood, movement, and nutrition).
Every recommendation is transparent — it explains why it was made, which factors contributed, and which clinical guideline it follows.
All recommendations are grounded in UK clinical guidelines:
- Mood: GHQ-12 (General Health Questionnaire) and EPDS (Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale) — NICE CG192
- Movement:UK Chief Medical Officers' Physical Activity Guidelines (2019) — 150 minutes moderate activity per week
- Nutrition: SACN Dietary Reference Values and UK Reference Nutrient Intakes — NICE PH11
This app uses interpretable and human-centred AI to deliver personalised maternal wellbeing support. It draws on UK population health datasets (Health Survey for England 2022 and the National Diet and Nutrition Survey) to ground recommendations in real population data.
This application provides general wellbeing information only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The assessments used are screening tools, not diagnostic instruments. Always consult your GP, midwife, or health visitor for clinical guidance. If you are in crisis, contact the Samaritans on 116 123 or your local emergency services on 999.
